Armin Strom Unveils the Tribute 1 with Fume Dials and Guilloche Plates

Armin Strom announced the colourful reinterpretation of the Tribute 1 models, limited to only 10 pieces per colour. The new Tribute 1 blends modern and vintage elements and is powered by an in-house crafted manual-winding movement. It features a motor barrel set against an elegantly guilloché-patterned dial plate, showcasing Armin Strom’s commitment to refined simplicity.

The Tribute 1, an embodiment of essential watchmaking, showcases Armin Strom’s distinct approach to crafting a three-hand watch. This latest iteration features fumé dials in four alluring hues – ocean, slate, sky, and burgundy, each paired with a guilloché plate crafted by the renowned independent watchmaker Kari Voutilainen. The dials exhibit a dynamic play of light and colour and are accentuated by a sunray-brushed finish.

Armin Strom’s Co-Founder and Master Watchmaker, Claude Greisler, highlights the unique aspects of the Tribute 1, including its asymmetrical design, an unconventional crown position at 2 o’clock, and an off-centred subdial. The watch’s mechanical ingenuity is visible through its innovative “motor barrel” design, providing an efficient and space-conserving solution while offering a remarkable 100-hour power reserve.

The manual-winding calibre AMW21, a testament to Armin Strom’s expertise in elaborate hand-finishing, features various decorative techniques, enhancing its mechanical purity. The watch is completed with a luxurious grey Alcantara calf leather strap, adding to its sophisticated charm.
