Glashütte Original announces the Lady Serenade for Valentine’s

Glashütte Original unveils the new limited edition Lady Serenade to honour this creative influence, coinciding with the upcoming Valentine’s Day. This exquisite timepiece melds luxurious elements like diamonds and mother-of-pearl with soft rose tones, manifesting a subtle yet constant pulse. The Lady Serenade’s Valentine’s Day limited edition is an eternal tribute to this deeply cherished emotion.

A work of art

The skilled team at Glashütte Original has crafted this new women’s watch with the same passion and precision that a poet pours into their poetry. Each component is meticulously chosen and harmoniously assembled.

The watch features enchanting rosy hues that beautifully contrast with the radiant sparkle and the brilliance of finely cut diamonds. Encased in a polished stainless steel frame with a 36 mm diameter, the bezel sparkles with 52 finely cut diamonds. An additional diamond on the crown enhances the watch’s elegance, akin to a sophisticated piece of jewellery. Like any masterpiece, this feminine watch is unique, with only 50 pieces available globally.

The colours of love

The Lady Serenade’s dial is a masterful creation, showcasing the exceptional skill and instinct present in the German watchmaker’s studios. This refined, white mother-of-pearl dial is enhanced with five elegantly curved large Arabic numerals and six slender indices. These elements are meticulously printed on both the front and back of the dial, creating a subtle colour transition from magenta through rose to violet. This sophisticated printing method endows the dial with a dynamic luminosity and depth, allowing the numerals and indices to shift in appearance based on the viewing angle, with the coloured backdrop either emerging or receding.

The watch also features a date display at 6 o’clock in a harmonious violet against a white base. Complementing this colour scheme is the exquisite Louisiana alligator leather strap in a rose blossom red hue. Additionally, there is an option for a classic metal bracelet variant.

Reliability in elegance

Even amidst the distractions of love, the Lady Serenade remains a reliable timekeeper. Its core is powered by the in-house calibre 39-22, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, ensuring top-notch mechanical accuracy.

This precision is matched by exquisite craftsmanship, mirroring the watch’s elegant design. Inside, one can appreciate the artistic, traditional embellishments such as the Glashütte stripe finish and intricate circular graining, visible through the sapphire crystal case-back. Signature Glashütte elements like the three-quarter plate, the swan-neck fine adjustment, and the skeletonised rotor with the Double-G logo of Glashütte Original are also showcased.
