Grand Seiko SBGA229 and SBGA231 Discontinued
It seems like two of Grand Seiko’s diver offerings have finally been discontinued, the SBGA229 and SBGA231. Watch enthusiasts have noticed that the divers are taken out of the main Grand Seiko website outside Japan. However, you can still try to talk to your authorised dealer about ordering, as some may still take special orders.

The SBGA229 and SBGA231 are two of Grand Seiko’s less popular offerings. The two shares similar dimensions, except the SBGA231 is made of high-intensity titanium. Titanium is 30% lighter than stainless which proved to be better for a watch this big.
Rumour has it that a new design is on the way for their divers. One could only hope that they will make it smaller similar to the direction their other sports model are going.
