Panerai and Prada Announces the new Luminor Due Re-Nylon
The Luminor Due Prada Re-Nylon watch is a masterpiece formed by collaborating with two iconic Italian brands, Panerai and Prada. This timepiece perfectly illustrates contemporary Italian elegance through its refined design elements and innovations.
The watch boasts Luminor Due’s signature sleek, lightweight design, exuding metropolitan Italian charm, complemented by straps made from Prada’s innovative Re-Nylon fabric. This fabric is a remarkable evolution of Prada’s trademark nylon having been a symbol of the brand’s modern luxury for over 40 years. Interestingly, Re-Nylon is derived from ECONYL®, a wholly recycled nylon sourced from pre and post-consumer waste, including old fishing nets and discarded nylon.
The watch straps come in various shades: iron grey and navy for the 42mm case, and alabaster pink and cornflower grey for the 38mm variant. Both styles feature the distinct logos of Prada Re-Nylon and Panerai, signifying their collaborative spirit. Each watch is encased in polished steel.
The PAM01425 and PAM01426 display an exquisite matte white dial with grey Super-Luminova. PAM01428 showcases a sun-brushed white dial with beige Super-Luminova, and PAM01429 sports a blue sun-brushed face with white Super-Luminova. The date is positioned at 3 o’clock, with seconds at 9, rounded off with a subtle Panerai inscription for a modern touch.
The watches have the PAM Click Release system, enabling effortless strap swaps for diverse looks. The 42mm variant has an adjustable buckle, while the 38mm opts for a pin buckle. The automatic P.900 calibre is powering these watches, ensuring three days of energy reserve.
