A. Lange & Sohne 35mm Saxonia
A list wouldn’t be complete without one of the watch world’s best watchmaking company. A. Lange & Sohne has cemented itself as one of the best in the field just behind or even on par with the swiss trinity Audemars Piguet, Patek Phillipe and Vacheron Constantin.
The price varies depending on the dial and material. Being sized at 35mm, it’s now considered unisex, especially now that smaller watches are coming back.

Jaeger-LeCoultre Rendez-vous Moon Medium
A ladies’ collection would not be complete without a moon phase complication, and I find that JLC does a perfect one. If 60 diamonds around the bezel are not enough, there’s 47 more on the interior dial. The watch also measures 34mm, which makes this very wearable even with the most refined wrist sizes.
This is the kind of watch it’s in the details that make this watch the ultimate luxury. The moon phase, for example, sits on a lacquered starry sky blue mini dial. The dial is also guilloched which contributes to the higher price tag.
One might ask what’s the accuracy like for this watch? It will be going to be accurate, but it’s not going to be Rolex level. The movement is not COSC certified so it can pretty much be more than a few seconds/day. With this type of timepieces, accuracy is not as important as you’re paying for the craftmanship. Rest assured JLC will perform its best regulation possible as part of its quality check.
